None of the things we have accomplished already, or hope to accomplish in the future, would be possible without the continuous fundraising efforts of our volunteers and the support of the community. Your support helps provide shelter, food, medical care and much more for the pets FSAS supports.
The Shelton Animal Shelter gratefully accepts donations of rugs, blankets, towels, leashes and collars, toys, treats and food. The food of choice is Pedigree™ or Cycle™ dry kibble. Although, all brands are welcomed and will be used. Donations of this type may be dropped off at the shelter on Riverdale Avenue or brought to any Friends of the Shelton Animal Shelter event.
We can use almost anything you can think of donating — new or used! Monetary donations, which are tax deductible, can be mailed to:

Checks should be made payable to “Friends of the Shelton Animal Shelter.” All donations are used to directly benefit the city’s homeless animals.
If you have free time you want to donate, check out our volunteer activities. Whether it’s a regular commitment of a few hours each week or a one time half-day commitment, we need you!
