One of the primary purposes of the Friends of the Shelton Animal Shelter (FSAS) is to raise funds to provide much needed resources to the shelter and other groups who have missions aligned with FSAS. For example, FSAS has provided funding to Compassionate Cats for neutering and other medical care. To achieve our fundraising goals, we hold special events each year. The following are our “upcoming events”:
Low Cost Rabies Clinic - May 5, 2012
In 2012, FSAS will hold it’s low cost rabies clinic at the Farmer’s Market in Shelton [by the riverwalk]. FSAS holds this clinic annually in partnership with a local veternarian. The clinic provides an opportunity for FSAS to provide low-cost vaccinations for area families who have pets. This event also allows us to provide addditional exposure to FSAS, our mission and accomplishments, and recruit volunteers on behalf of area animals. Please check our home page in the near future for a poster with more information. Please join us!
Pet Photos With Santa
Every year in November at the Walmart on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, you can join us to have your pet’s picture made with Santa. Please check these pages or look for a poster linked to our home page for more information
