Shelton Animal Shelter staff and FSAS volunteers are committed to matching the right pet with the right family. Therefore, when we interview prospective adopters, please be patient, because we ask a lot of questions.
We are honest about all our pets. We’ll tell you everything we know about the one you’re adopting. All animals are neutered before they leave us and they are examined by a veterinarian. They also receive appropriate bloodwork and vaccinations. Our animals come with a “lifetime guarantee,” yet, we won’t place them unless you’re seriously committed to making it work.
All these animals deserve that “special someone” who is willing and able to provide a lifetime of love and care. They need and deserve to be family members — they have so much love to give! You will get back from them a thousand times what you give.
